Olivarez, Co-Founder & COO of NCrowd was recognized & honored as a finalist in the technology industry for the Capital of Texas Latina Industry Leader Awards that was held virtually from Austin, Texas, on May 29. The event was to recognize & honor Texas-based Latinas “ruling in their respective industries.”
This year’s event honored women in areas of Business, Community, Health & Human Services, Non-Profit, Public Service, and Technology. The event was highlighted by the public service award that went to Pflugerville Police Chief, Jessica Robledo; the first Latina Police Chief in Central Texas History. Olivarez remarked, “it was very humbling & inspiring to be recognized and just to be in such great company with so many accomplished Latina leaders.
